Walking and talking; tails held high; never expecting.
A most curious, intriguing conversation.

Why Lazarus is not home

At least, stopping by Lazarus’s home would always include. (Story of Lazarus)
A plate heaped high with really good food,
However a crowd has gathered today in a very sad mood.
Women are crying; men would ask.
“I thought for Jesus to heal was such a simple task?”

Martha learns that Jesus appears.

Whispering as Martha learns that Jesus appears.
She goes to meet Him with questions and tears.
“Lord, had you only come my brother would be alive.”
“Martha, only believe and Lazarus will arise.”
“We know on the last day, but he is needed now.”
“Martha, I am the resurrection if your faith will allow.”

Jesus is not too late

Two kitties standing side by side.
Tails held low; shaking their heads.
Not quite sure what to expect
Of this most curious, intriguing conversation.

Secretly, Martha leaves to find her sister Mary.
Jesus continues walking to the cemetery.
He sees the pain; He hears their cries.
And he is moved within and deeply agonized.

Jesus wept, then prayed, and issued a command.
“Move the stone.” Then he called Lazarus to come out and stand.
Out of the grave the dead man hobbled forth.
Bound tightly wrapped in linens and myrrh.
“Remove his grave clothes” for he’s living and breathing for sure.

Meow! What has happened here?

Alas, two kitties standing side by side
Shaking their heads; blinking their eyes.
Not quite sure on which facts to rely.
For this most curious, intriguing conversation.

As a result, many followed Jesus , but a few saw Him as a threat.
Their pride causing them to be angry and upset.
“He will cause us to lose our power and status.
So as they plotted his death, so it then happened.
Thus Jesus was crucified on a day then blackened.

Two kitties stand helpless feeling so small

Two kitties stand helpless feeling so small
Sniffing His cross to somehow make sense of it all.
From above they hear His voice saying words so true
“Father, forgive them they know not what they do.”
Finally, hanging his head after His last words were spoken’
“It is finished.” At last, the curse of sin is now broken.

Two kitties standing over to the side.
Shook their heads and asking why.
“How come this perfect man had to die?”
In this most curious, intriguing conversation.

Joy comes in the morning

Three days later at his grave two kitties do stare.
The tomb stone rolled back. Do they dare?
They sniffed and entered, their courage not in vain.
For two angels sat on the slab where His body had lain.
“He has risen just like he said he would.
So go now and tell His disciples this news that is good.”

Two kitties scampered side by side.
Tails held high; purring , a smile they could not hide.
For they know that hope has completed their elation
In this most curious, intriguing conversation.
